That coffee and alcohol thing only happens in certain tabloids and other trash media. Both have positive and negative effects on your health depending on how much you drink of it. Having a little is fine, drinking it 24/7 is not.

I still have a BQ E5 Ubuntu Edition laying around at home. Still waiting for any other distro to support it, despite Ubuntu Touch.

Some people seem to think that if humans aren't special, then they will be treated like animals. Which is quite ironic, if you consider human history.

I think you're confusing a Crypto with NFTs. One is virtual money, the other is virtual certificates.

Yeah, i guess the tooling around it got way better. No need to download scripts from hundreds of websites. Just npm install and off you go. I'm just not a huge fan of SPA in most cases. I had to commute a few years ago everyday and it

I once worked in a company that distributed an APK via mail to the customers. It was a customized app, and still in development. "How to install" was a regular question.

Damn, that's nice. In Germany it's enough to have the intention to make money outside of regular employment. You won't pay taxes until a certain amount is reached, but you'll have to get a business license and fill out t

Maybe it's just me, but i somehow doubt that insects will ever become mainstream. I think plant based food will be on the rise long term. Especially with the possibilities of vertical farming, which i think is inevitable. The lab-grown

I think we are too many to go entirely extinct. Our ancestors survived an ice age, after all. We may go back to the stone age or at least middle age level of tech, but the species itself will survive. As long as the surface of earth is some

That's the problem, yes. I fully agree with your point. Just wanted to add some observations. Every community needs some form of "censor", or as we called it back in the day: "moderator". Just to keep things civil.

Twitter usually doesn't "censor". Its system seems automated, so a certain amount of reports can lead to deletion.

Those "opinions" are heavily inflated by bots and other fake accounts. I've observed this behaviour around 2012 on Youtube comments, where the usual tinfoil nutjobs kept running several accounts at once and artificially upvot
