Using the law to force your HOA into something, though, sounds like a really good way to ensure that your HOA will fuck with you by every possible means for the rest of your natural life. HOAs can be pretty evil that way.

Actually, if you check some style guides, you'll find that there is debate on this question. And rightly so.

Oh, dear. There's a glaring style error in line 2 of this document. It has quotation marks around "Print this Document". For no reason. That's not what quotation marks are for. That's not how anything works. The res

Let's please not further the idea that it's acceptable to quote only downstream speed when citing Internet speeds. Doing that just leads to 20 more years of Comcast killing the concept of modern Internet service for Americans. Cit

The real story here is how great the internet service can be now in a civilized country if you don't let Comcast have monopolies and ban local internet cooperatives and coast along selling the same service for 15 years while raising pr

Maybe someone who has made money at classical music for 30 years knows a bit more than you about it. I mean, do five minutes of research. At least Google it. Also, if you think a random "classic" [sic] music station in your car te

Los Angeles wasn't part of the comparison, however. The question was about housing values and why they'd be so much higher in SF than in Portland or Seattle. And speaking as an experienced professional musician who has performed a

Grunge is not "early music". Bach is. ;) That said, yes, granted, Seattle deserves credit for grunge. But no, the Seattle Symphony is not a world-class orchestra. The SF Symphony is, though.

Neither Portland nor Seattle can match the Bay Area in terms of overall culture. Neither has a world-class orchestra or opera, to say nothing of the early-music scene in the Bay Area, which is easily the best in the US. Neither measures up

This sounds like you haven't really investigated the issue. Apple's plan, for instance, does allow a lot of flexibility; they are making Wednesdays and Fridays work-from-home days.

Spending 30% more? More like 130% more, based on my very recent homebuying experience in another very nice city compared to what that experience would have been like in the Bay Area.
