Grunge is not "early music". Bach is. ;) That said, yes, granted, Seattle deserves credit for grunge.
But no, the Seattle Symphony is not a world-class orchestra. The SF Symphony is, though.
- irrational 5y agoAnd yet, this is the first I’ve ever heard that SF has a symphony, despite the local classical music station being my standard station in the car. Maybe it’s not as world-class as you might think.
- Bud 5y agoMaybe someone who has made money at classical music for 30 years knows a bit more than you about it. I mean, do five minutes of research. At least Google it. Also, if you think a random "classic" [sic] music station in your car teaches you anything significant about this topic, please do think again. Classical music radio station are almost universally awful.
