It wasn't Alan Kay, it was Ivan Sutherland who was a father of computer graphics.

Did you read the article? This has nothing to do with 'high population' 'over population' or whatever feeling you get from the headline. He went to court multiple times and even though the courts agreed that he had been

This has nothing to do with overpopulation, I'm not sure where you are getting that bizarre connection. If you read the article you can see that it is predatory foreclosure and tax policies that give too much room for the county treas

Between income taxes, corporate taxes, sales tax etc. most people with jobs give up half the money they make to the government anyway, so that makes sense.

The difference is that in something like chess, you see it happen and adjust. It probably isn't the strongest move and thus probably does more harm than good. In something like starcraft there can be a lot of moves that can seem irr

That's the same thing. Intel calls their stuff a dynamic boost so that some of their measurements like TDW are for lower clocks. Both CPUs end up scaling their clocks to a wide range.

Is there a good explanation for why saying this is a 'new type of software' and a 'fundamental change to the 50 year old kernel structure' isn't hyperbole? I understand that it is some sort of constrained virtual m

The party in power only allows political ads on the TV station they control for a few weeks before the election. This makes me think that they are trying to control alternate routes of information as well.

It seems that you created a new name just to doubt organ harvesting by China. You say the media doesn't report it, but a single search for china organ harvesting turns up this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orga

I don't think having people in concentration camps getting their organs harvested is so similar that comparing numbers makes sense.

Modern C++, since there is no 'runtime' (and don't say linked in functions are a 'runtime'). If you have an example of where you think this breaks down I'll be happy to come up with a solution.

When you say locality, you mean moving memory allocations next to each other so that there is no wasted space between them right?
712.
by BubRoss 7y ago
I don't think that is true anymore. AMD has a process advantage and measures their heat by the max clock rate, while Intel calls their max clock rate 'core boost' and measures their TDP with lower clocks. You can see benchm
