Fast boot no longer matters. Fast sleep/wakeup is important. I love that ipad-like instant possible usage of my macbook air. I open it and it is just there.

The no-compromise "fix-the-bug-and-hit-reload-devlopment"-culture that Play enables has changed the way I work. I cannot go back to the old style of developing Java web apps. To hell with unnecessary self-imposed complexity.

I dont know about average users in general, but non-tech-savvy people in my environment were aware of "Apple preventing some sort of GalaxyTab from being sold". They dont care about the underlying issue, but they know about the consequence

The funny thing is, this whole court decision has made me aware of the new GalaxyTab 10.1 in a way I would not have been if it was not for Apple's litigation. I checked out reviews on YouTube and compared it to the iPad, etc. Isnt it counte

When the last tickets for the latest eclipse "release train" are given out, even showstopper bugs are forced to wait until 3.x.1 ;)

Woah nice! Is there something equivalent for Java?

by BonoboBoner 15y ago
I dont think the pitch of Wave was bad... just the UI and the lack of integration with your existing contacts.

Same here, i love the "There should be one and only one obvious way of doing things"-paradigm of Python. Scala is in my mind the complete opposite to that.
