Or a way to turn off vsynch/change the compositor. I've found nvidia drivers have their own vsynch, and gnome adds some on top of it, netting a microstuttery experience. May be wrong, but I find xfce without compositing to perform

Okay, I respect your dedication as an admin. I don't think it's flamewars but I agree hacker news should not become 4chan. I'll stick to the guide lines better.

There was a tabletop dishwasher not too long ago that had proprietary capsules. A dude bought industrial detergent and filled them up with a syringe for 100x cheaper.

Math is made by humans to be learned and applied by humans. There's no need for marketing in the form of pretext formalities. If anything, we should savour the human metadata to math - the last decades before AI takes over.

You know what's interesting, China and Russia have been struggling for years to get something on the level of intel Westmere. And here comes Apple out of the blue with a proprietary arch and hardware emulator; cinebench showing it to b

Won't it be enough to shoot a few hundred pictures with a negative and a digital camera, and run some ML with a precomputed heuristic, to make a digital filter?
