Thanks for the reply. Very interesting. I’m really surprised the ordinance requires proof or it did not happen. You would assume it is doing something and that something can be checked. For example you don’t need proof of circumcision … jus

Your points are fair. The last item was addressed by an LDS member who said they are Baptized during the resurrection.

Thanks for the clarification. If they are resurrected, couldn’t they be baptized themselves? No proxy necessary and no records need to be recovered. Just stand in line. Will there be millions of temples built to accommodate? Or is a temple

Proxy baptism the way Mormons practice it does not solve the issue at all. The overwhelming majority of people who have ever lived are now lost to history. Are they not worthy of salvation? Christians believe in baptism by desire for those

I 100% disagree. With the insanely low unemployment, workers hold more power than any time in human history. Unions were a symptom of an abusive employer. As that abuse subsided, union representation waned.

I'm wondering if we will find all of the masking, and lock downs, and social distancing caused more harm than good? My uneducated theory is people in close quarters are all exposed to a light dose of the virus, thus herd immunity is c

A lot of companies acquire to expand. What has Cisco invented since the router in the early 90’s? Their entire product line can be traced to an acquisition. Not every company needs to be Apple to succeed.

You can sail around the world for about $25k/year in expenses. Figure 50k for the boat, so about $100k in savings will get you two years of sailing. Do some side jobs and you can go longer.

I disagree. The difference between 31’ and 45’ is huge. 45’ will give you a much more comfortable ride and is safer in rough weather. Of course with both you want a blue ocean capable sailboat and not a coastal cruiser.
