A few months ago I read that there are applications to connect more battery capacity to the German grid than the country's peak usage. If all of that is approved, Germany could run 100% on battery powered (at least for a few minutes).

Your statement there implies that the intention is related to such a price point. I suspect that's wrong, and that they didn't even try to calculate those price points, which will vary per kind of good, not per country. If the per

Apple has considered that same question for most other apps. Garage Band, for example, and Apple Mail. I don't think you should listen to anyone's ideas about why Apple does what it does. But if you want to hear my unfounded specu

Sorry, my bad. I don't think I've ever seen a tariff being applied to consulting, have you? I remember a contract that escaped tariffs because the subject was excepted from an exception from an exception, which suggests that sligh

What Trump does is to grant exemptions (e.g. from secrecy rules at the Pentagon), invent special rules (e.g. no security clearance for lawyers who've served the clients Trump doesn't like), take bribes (e.g. security clearance fro

General tariffs exist, e.g. the "10% on everything" that you probably have read about recently. "Everything" includes immaterial imports such as paying for consulting when the consulting company is in another country.

I've heard something possibly relevant where I live. Namely that if you want apprentices or interns, you need older apprentices/interns who will vouch for you — who will say you that don't treat the kids as shit. Too many peo

I think you're just being facetious. But I feel serious tonight, and the workload doesn't balance out. One person causes more work than one parcel, but the number of parcels is large and so is the additional workload.

My dad, at least, does not love youtube to the exclusion of text. Suspect the marketing might be a little bit away from the stated target here. Maybe they/you don't really understand what the target market really is.

I venture to disagree with the analysis of the reason for the slower growth. When EVs and other electrification takes 0.1%, then 0.2 and goes on doubling at a pace not much below once per year, of this kind of slower growth of oil demand is
