"Use subclasses over enums" must be some niche advice. I've never heard it. The youtuber seems to be referring to some specific example (he refers to specific advice from "them") so I guess there's some context

Heartbleed still happens inside a sandbox, because it's the sandboxed memory that leaks. For multiplayer games specifically, that can be a client auth key that can be used to impersonate you.

With a gparted liveCD and a big enough spare disk / USB drive you can move unmounted partitions around to your liking. If your filesystem supports shrinking then you may not even need a spare disk. And have a phone or another computer

For Linux, I haven't used VSCode for debugging myself, just `gdb --tui`. Since VSCode supports driving gdb I would think everything would work fine. For Windows, I used to debug Rust using Visual Studio (not Code) without problems, bec

OPNsense's stable 23.1 release ships with HAProxy v2.6.8 that is affected by CVE-2023-25725. They already updated the package manifest three days ago on GitHub to v2.6.9 that has the fix for the CVE, but did not build and upload it to

In a systemd-boot setup there is no "boot partition", encrypted or otherwise. There is an EFI partition that contains the systemd-boot EFI binary and the UKI binary, and it is a regular unencrypted FAT32 partition. The UKI will co
