I don't know what to tell you... the trend line from the first data point in Wolfram shows an upward slope. And anyway, that's beside the point because it's full-year data, not summer temps.

That source shows temperature trending up. What’s more, the article discusses the precipitation and temperatures in the summer months. It helps little if the winters have gotten colder and wetter. Frozen undergrowth doesn’t decompose much,

Anecdotes is not data, though. For me Plex “just works” but I’m careful not to dismiss the many comments I’m reading here about people that do have problems.

Sounds like your Synology just isn’t up to it in terms of transcoding. Direct playback to an Apple TV Plex app is virtually flawless in my experience (exceptions were HDR content but that seems to be fine now)

It won’t move the needle, no. But neither does your vote. On the other hand, “get out the vote” campaigns are still a thing. It’s not a perfect analogy, but if business owners band together and all push people back to the office, it’s not u

Given the lack of any documented adverse health effects from soy-derived foods in the many cultures where it’s extremely widely used in cooking, my layman’s guess is that it’s to do with the extraction and processing of the soy bean oil. Th

I think that only applies to variations of “non stick” or grease repellant paper bags, which is often used by fast food joints to avoid the food sticking to the paper.

Turns out the Navy heard it, based on a WSJ article. They started actively listening when notified that contact was lost, and shortly after they picked up what sounded like an implosion or explosion.
