Without knowing your bandwidth usage, it's probably because your bandwidth isn't that high? They're not charging based on revenue. Every major law firm in the world could probably be hosted on Cloudflare Free Tier with a basi

Those are kind of ugly, at least for MacBooks. Rain Design's mStand is my favorite, blends in perfectly.

I hiked the PCT last year over 85 days and slept on average 5-6 hours a night (except days off) and hiked 30+ miles a day over 16+ hours a day. It's weird the things your body can do if you push yourself beyond the expected norms.

Unironically, if this was on Steam and monetized through their item shop, it would probably make a fortune. See banana: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2923300/Banana/

Hey Vanay, go do a thru-hike like the Pacific Crest Trail. You won't regret it. (I hiked it last year, and will again this year)

Just curious, do you use LLMs in your reviewing process? e.g. Summarization, prioritization, etc.

I enabled it for awhile, but turned it off. My problem, as usual, is trust. Summarizing a website, news article, or email? I can't trust that the summary doesn't contain hallucinated information.

Instead of binging a game over an entire weekend and burning yourself out.. slow down, just play for an hour a week. Treat it like a weekly TV episode of a currently airing show. I follow a couple television series weekly and don't fre

It's been awhile since I've done a clean install, and my MacBook feels a little crusty/bloated with stuff so I think it's about time. What's the recommended process these days for a direct clean install? If I factor

This close to launch and no information on how they'll audit GPTs. I just want to know their review process and how they'll enforce their usage policies, specifically regarding privacy (and GDPR compliancy). How will they prevent

It's odd to me when people generalize the whole of Europe when it comes to healthcare. The quality of welfare/healthcare in Eastern Europe for example is very different than what Nordic countries like Sweden and Norway offer (they

We never see his face so I'm not sure where your assumptions are coming from, but I'm sure someone with enough PVC experience to make a working model excavator out of PVC is probably taking the necessary safety precautions..

There should be a Show HN rule that the OP needs to participate in their thread. Lots of good questions being asked about the legitimacy of this product but the OP is nowhere in sight.

Regarding blisters, you absolutely can get blisters with toe socks, it just takes longer. I hike exclusively with Injiji Nuwool. On my JMT thru-hike I developed large blisters on one toe on the side, and on another toe on the top. Also coin

I think population growth is the main factor for why prescribed burns of forests have dwindled. We have cities and towns that have expanded into forests and high-risk fire areas. Maybe we shouldn't have ever allowed this, but it happen

So this is a VR headset and not AR? Or does it also do AR? They haven't shown that yet. I was really hoping for AR centric device, like a vastly superior Google Glass. VR isn't exactly revolutionary at this point.
