I know they are designed for the niche of gaming, but Razer has a line of laptops that are very well designed, and if you can handle the black-and-green, almost as nice looking as macbooks. And Linux should run fine on them. http:/&#x

Very cool! I had thrown together something very similar using s7 for a super small self-contained preprocessor. I'm using `@` as the symbol to consume the next-sexp and process it, otherwise it's mostly the same. I'll try to

Are you implying that a long call stack is better than a long function? At least you don't have to have a debugger to read the long function.

The problem with DynamoDB is it has minimum provisioned throughput requirements that would make this rather expensive for a blog that was not free-tier eligible even if it got no traffic at all. In contrast, SimpleDB seems to only charge fo

There is a lot of emphasis on non-realistic graphics. But the consensus is that it must run at 90FPS+ with two views so that bumps the specs back up again. Especially considering that most contemporary game engines aren't build with th

The hardware requirements are based on the 90 FPS requirement for good feeling VR. That extra 5ms of savings is quite difficult in a lot of experiences. And even without all the "good" looking graphics requires quite a serious amo

With shadow buffers this will not work, since you are not in fact rendering a shadow mask, but instead a depth buffer with distance-to-occluder, which cannot be blended as it'd be entirely incorrect. Even if you could, the penumbra siz
