I think both product and engineering is lacking. The only thing that works great today is the LLM model themselves. Everything is dependent on "agents", but there are either barely any scaffold around them or it is full speghetti,

LLM submissions are no different from tech submission of yesterday. But most people used to build tools that does one thing well instead whatever the current meta is.

Well, the product here has nothing to do with serving GenAI models. It's now application territory. And I prefer unix philosophy vs. the Copilot product approach.

Off meta: Are we tired of "one single product that solves everything" that every single AI product has became? grep didn't try to also do what awk does, and jq and curl did exactly what they needed to do without wanting to be

Yeah it was my bad, thanks for pointing it out. For some reason I read that as "able", can't unsee it or understood how it happened.

There's no refutation of anything here, I seriously thought about the possibility of evolution without meat, but you should be convince me otherwise if you can show me how it can arise naturally after big bang. It's a discussion o

This is fun to read but any such galactic intelligence would probably recognize that its predecessor were meat, probably kept the original meat safe in a corner of the galaxy too.. The universe were quite uniform in character. Galaxies, sta

There haven't been any priors to update so far. All LLMs got better for sure, but they are still definitively LLM and did not show any sign of having purpose. Which also made sense, because their very nature as statistical machines. So

That's assuming the model is actually as good as they say it is. Given the amount of AI researchers over the past 3 years claiming supernatural capability from the LLM they have built, my bayesian skepticism is through the roof.

You can't define a product to be "like a person", there is more variance there than any rational product. I'm purely arguing on technical basis, "person" may fall into either of those camps of philosophy.

In my opinion cramming invisible subagents are entirely wrong, models suffer information collapse as they will all tend to agree with each other and then produce complete garbage. Good for Anthropic though as that's metered token usage

I am spoiled by big screen and tmux, I objectively cannot work with small screens any more. I can tolerate chatting with a gateway agent, but that only last for maybe a single hour before I seriously need to vet all of the work that it and

I have no idea what ACP offers that are superior to a tmux session. With tmux, you can attach to it at any time, send keys at any time, and capture pane without bothering any running process inside. And you don't have to get anyone

openclaw is too easy to set up and way too messy and context heavy, they don't have to catch you they just have to catch the guy on the market giving out free modified V8 F150s while Anthropic are selling gas subscriptions in town.

Exactly, we should be able to build on top of the tooling agents. They are a dime a dozen similar to the models. Power(money) lies with NVDA and people who can best harness this power.
