It does happen, but I find it overall more preferable than documents, tickets, meetings, meetings and meetings. Spending time in the terminal with vim and shell is healing.

I think this is purely focused on the supply side and neglecting demand and its role in the economy. The world economy today isn't driven by lack of supply (for the vast majority categories of products), rather it is by lack of demand.

You're mistaking the chief engineer/funder (likeliest candidate on that plaque) with the management of the construction company/contractors.

I don't disagree with the general notion, but it seem to me that LLMs being smart enough to create AGI is even more far fetched than if they are just smart enough to be AGI.

The premise is that LLMs are a path to AGI. I'm not convinced, you can throw all the compute (btw, it's not growing exponentially any more, we have arrived at atom scale) at it and I'm not convinced this will lead to AGI. Our

tbh it smells like they've brought in too much to their own hype. Nothing OpenAI have done more recently suggest to me that they are closer to the AGI. They did create a bunch of other models with different input format that are probab

That's an over complication, how about my naive belief that LLMs (and increasing the size of) don't lead to AGI. Not saying AGI is impossible, just think the large models and the underlying statistic model beneath are not the path

I think you just want to track both over the long term - that is compare your watch with your watch and your garmin with your garmin. But that is a huge gap, I think in general running creates more realistic VO2max data than cycling since t
