Looking at the project, They don't really connect to SciHub at all, SciHub on downloading a paper (using the credentials) saves it on libgen so it could be accessed later by others quickly. These just look like attempts to p2ping easy

SciHub relies on credentials donated (or sold) by people with access to journals to obtain the papers. (If you are in a university, your university likely provides access to many journals and pays for it on your behalf). So yeah, even if th

yes you can, (Atleast if you can handle the extra CPU and Disk I/O). I think you should checkout winapps [1] which RDP's into the vm to give you a pretty seamless experiance. P.S. Disk I/O can be a severe bottleneck on HDDs,

Atleast right now, most anticheat software aren't available for Linux, You need a Windows kernel for them to run. This can however change as Steam plans to use SteamOS (based on Arch) as their primary OS on the SteamDeck.

Article does mention Chrome 0-day Vulnerabilities (CVE-2021-21166 and CVE-2021-30551) and a Office Vulnerability (CVE-2021-33742). Knowing these were targeted attacks, It could have been as easy as sending a innocent looking email with a in

Well unless you are building everything from source (after auditing software), you end up trusting someone for the executable (packaged by distro maintainers). Distros like Gentoo solve this pretty well by giving a good suite of build tools

Well for heavy gaming I doubt you'll be able to put any more power in such a small package. I don't think the target audience is heavy gamers, but mid-tier games.
