I also have a fear of having my private key on my phone, but it's a nebulous kind of paranoid fear. I don't know if there's actually any good reason to have this paranoia or what the best practice is. I suppose having the sam

As someone following that project for a long time: they just took too long to finish it. The only reason it got targeted is Samus Returns was releasing on 3DS soon after IIRC. Edit- First demo released in 2011, DMCA was in 2016. As they say

The Gen Z hyperbolic "this is the worst ever in gaming" betrays a lack of knowing Nintendo's history. They're conservative (business-wise) to a fault and this has served them well. Nintendo fan projects do exist, hell Do

It opens the App Store to, say, a GB emulator that bundles several GB Studio games (with permission, of course). That's not nothing.

It's hard to do design right the same way it's hard to do kanban right or Jira right. Less skilled people chase the trends without understanding the fundamentals.

I seem to remember Microsoft having a flash of security-focused mindset up to and shortly after Vista released (new driver model, Windows Defender, better Windows Updates, etc.) Then they stopped talking about it by 7 and by 8 it was all ab

Angular was made for you, basically. I've always seen that as the use case. It never seemed suitable for mostly-frontend devs, but it's probably perfect for mostly-backend ones.

To be clear, I am fine delaying my personal use of E2EE for several years as the GSMA and Apple work together on adding it to the spec. If you are a political dissident or in a vulnerable position, I don't know your situation and my ad
