I'm kinda split between "everyone should be blogging" and "I don't want what I say today to be archive.org'd and used to embarrass me 5/10/20 years down the line." I've been exploring Haven

I've seen this kind of thing pop up in forums over the years. Depending on the audience involved, either you start with strong moderation from the start and make no apologies, or you kinda let "the board decide." Invariably i

Don't worry, I'm actually (the original?) ODROID shill! https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32619740 :) Glad to hear they never stopped doing what they were good at, sounds like they've gotten even better!

This article has such a focus on hardware, when that's like... 1% of my homelab decision making. Was hoping this article would delve into hosting your own email, websites and services and the steps to expose them to the public internet

I've been pretty happy with the EliteDesk G3 I got off eBay a couple months ago. I actually use it for light work (mostly spreadsheets and emails) too. I think I paid less than $130 including shipping and sometimes it (anecdotally) has

It's also trivial to use Ctrl+F on such pages if you so choose by clicking into the URL bar and then doing the keyboard combo. (Or just make two clicks in the browser menu.) I can see valid use cases for customizing Ctrl+F.

Anecdotally React was not in serious contention (for corporate use) until about 2016 or 2017. And React itself has not remained a stable API (rise and fall of hooks).

What about the CEO drama indicates OAI is "too big to fail"? They're completely orthogonal. No one came to bail OAI out of a budget crisis like the banks or auto industry. I fail to see how it's related at all.
