If I were him, a full-time job at a reputable company would be the last thing I'd want. Then everyone knows where you are, when you're there, etc. A huge number of people would love to see him disappear (permanently)... I'd b

Another vote for "No." I'd expect Viddio.com to be a $100-250 domain, not thousands. PromoStudio also looks/sounds more professional to me, is easier to say to people via word-of-mouth without having to spell it and hope

I always just assume these things are pieces of space junk that lost orbit. Is that even viable? Or is the junk all small enough to completely burn up on re-entry?

I've just gotta say: This is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to HN. A story gets posted about some cool new tech, and the creator is in the comments answering questions. Simply awesome.

I'm curious about this too. Do patents only apply to US owned/registered companies or can companies/people from other countries get in trouble for hosting patent-infringing code on Amazon/etc

As someone not familiar with how patenting really works, that's exactly what I thought at first, and reading patents isn't exactly a clear way to understand what is "actually patented" either. In this case when I read it

Considering the punishment by admitting it, and the "silence means you're guilty" thing that happens most of the time, I'd say they're pretty much left with no option other than to deny it even if it's a lie.
