TechCrunch says a fix is out: https://techcrunch.com/2019/11/07/ios-13-2-2-fixes-bug-that-... It’s dismaying how much Apple have taken their eyes off the ball when it comes to software quality. They used to h

Exactly this. Facebook will definitely move forward with some kind of payment system. Libra would have been fantastic for them if it had worked out but it was never their only option. They won't give up on Libra yet though.

Second this. I've found IntelliJ to be much faster on large codebases.

I like to hate on Facebook as much as anyone but there's a fairly obvious explanation for this situation: of the 100 or so organisations that initially expressed interest, the 27 organisations that have so far formally joined are more

I totally get what you're saying. For x86-64 I recommend Ray Seyfarth's book: http://rayseyfarth.com/asm/ But I can't help suggesting you try TIS-100. It's genuinely enjoyable and not like regular a

If you've not heard of TIS-100 then, given that you're currently on a site called "Hacker News", I heartily recommend it to you: http://www.zachtronics.com/tis-100/ Also excellent is Shenzhen IO: h

In a sense, this function isn't that interesting; It's just a way of encoding the prime numbers into a real number. However, one interesting aspect is how efficiently this particular function works for the prime numbers. The funct

This still happens in Australia too. The primary reason to do it this way is that you don’t need a person standing there all day to sell items. A working farm cannot spare a person full time. I imagine that farms stop the practice when it’s

Speaking as a dev who started with Java 1.2, I actually much prefer to write code that doesn’t rely on magic unseen effects. The only exception to this is dependency injection via annotations but for god’s sake use it in moderation. But the

Unfortunately for people who never switched to the subscription model, the CS6 updates stopped at 13.0.6. You need 13.1 to launch in 64-bit, which is only available to CC subscription holders. Edit: it seems that at one time it was possible
