Thanks for the link! The content of this video is pretty close to the perpetual internal dialogue happening between me and all of my selves. I eventually wrote a book about my findings thus far.

Sad to hear! I had just this month sent myself on a deep dive of Vangelis' work. He composed so many amazing things - here are a few tracks that have stuck out for me. Something about them is just hard to "get out of": Jon

The cadaverous reek of mandatory fun was best captured by the impressively pathetic David Brent in the original UK Office series (portrayed by Ricky Gervais). The moment when he points to a stuffed monkey on top of the coat-rack to demonstr

As enthusiastic as I get about 'vintage' tech, it's sobering to hear someone note the bumpy road that led us to the slick technologies we take for granted today. It sounds like you have some interesting stories to tell. Can y

So, "antisocial media sites" is more appropriate? A person who has never used these "social" media services must be nearly enlightened by comparison to a modern facebook junkie.

Allow me my fantasy: I imagine you are a younger, polite, curmudgeonly person who sadly missed the bouncy joy of this word when it was fresh. This fantasy makes me want to keep using this annoying word that I somehow love.

The Compact Edition is excellent, but be warned - it's quite big! You'll need an oversized shelf for it. My version came in a box with a pull-out drawer at the top to hold a magnifying glass. In my home, we sometimes race to see

Good points, though I was one of those people who was disturbed that Snowden's 'revelations' were news. Pre-Snowden, there were many of us who weren't paranoid or cynical, but who were not surprised by surveillance tech.
