It is a WIP distributed Pandas implementation. Allows you to spread massive dataframes, their data and computations, over multiple machines vs. Pandas which is only local to your machine. It's not quite there yet [1] [1] http:/&#

On the home page it says "Load-balancing and ha". Maybe consider capitalizing HA so it is more obvious it is an acronym. Took me a second. Just a thought.

I thought it maps your code to the base Py_Object like how writing an extension works? Idk only done a little bit of that and need to dive into the process more. On my todo list so if you have some links that have a good explanation of this

I think this is more of an economic issue. Poor countries, or better stated their population, can't afford to pay for the food. Exact example would be during the Irish famine Ireland was still exporting food the GB as they were able to

Yeah but people don't care. They will find a way to demonize it which would likely be throwing it in with GMO's. I'm not against GMO's personally. A lot of lies spread about them.

It was a pretty loose comparison and only used it to allude to my question. Mainly was noting how OP said they were a really small team and very experienced. Also discussing jet turbines at nearly century old companies not start ups.

I mean couldn't one say that a lot of sys admin jobs have been automated by VM's, further by containers and other automated deployment tools? Read somewhere SRE at Google are responsible for a ridiculous amount of computing power

Nice. From my experience I've found Parsel [1] (used by scrapy) to be an easier to use HTML parsing library than Beautiful Soup. That's just imo. [1] https://github.com/scrapy/parsel

I always found this to be really interesting despite it being rather simple. Definitely got some mild satisfaction simplifying IF statements. Professionally haven't used it too much (explicitly) given 99% of branches use at most 2 cond

Maybe. But my primary objection to this is that it will shift the cost burden of the legacy transmission infrastructure onto the poor.
