From Kansas. From first hand experience people don't want to work in those jobs. Work at a printing company and we have had several open press operator positions for a year or so that start at $25 and get up to ~$35 over time and pay 1

Personally don't view this as a necessarily bad thing. Short term losses like this suck but what you learn long term is entirely more valuable than if you did well the first time. Nothing teaches you as well as losing money.

Here is a link to the comments [1] from the OP. Don't see a single one from the CEO that I would interpret as insulting. There are however countless others from 3rd party posters that were way more easily interpretable as hostile in na

Side note: Isn't this the impetus behind Stripe Atlas? It at least allows you to have many of the necessary banking and management functions right off the bat.

I never saw a single instance of him insulting anyone or attacking the character of the CTO. The closest was him lamenting that the dispute made it's way to HN. Which I wouldn't call an illegitimate gripe.

This is kinda how building business around tech & IP works. The IP (copyright, patents, etc.) is assigned to the company so when they seek investment the investors know what they are getting. That or the IP is licensed which doesn'

Sounds to me like the company is doing what it needs to do to maintain a going concern and ensure it has the paperwork in place for any future transaction (investment or sale). The company has to have an operating agreement with all employe

Engineer's that were working on this should quit and form their own company to continue the work. Whether the drones can autonomously fire or not is a legislative issue. Cloud cert would be a big issue unless they can resell AWS which

I don't think this is very useful outside of short term fluctuations. At EOD analysis of the 3 financial statements (Balance sheet, cash flow, Profit/Loss) are what drives price.

Worked at a popular teen retailer in HS. Friend of mine would have his friends (not including me) come in and return items. He'd simply give them the item back, pocket the cash/gift card. Got caught by fraud prevention due to high
