I can confirm, most users think of XP as pretty old now, and they usually need win 7. The piracy condition is pretty bad, you get in store (like official store) after seeing an ad for a laptop with Linux and walk out with win 7. Consumers j

I am actually quiet sure there cannot be a live video feed. The best we can have is a twitter feed or maybe a live-blog from someone form NASA. I would have absolutely loved a video feed though.

US as an entity does not gain anything. The hollywood spends a lot of money on lobbying, so the people who run US get money for "pleasing an insignificant and corrupt industry we called hollywood"

Yes, I see your point. Re inventing the well makes no sense, i agree whole heatedly. But the fact is i never had to reinvent the wheel, outside of the prefixing madness. I kind of hate jquery. It used to be very useful back in day but nowad

Actually chrome has this feature too. When you have saved a file once manually, it keeps track. So whenever you make live changes on the resources panel it live updates the DOM and upon clicking save, it automatically rewrites the file at

After all instagram did something very similar, used VC investment to boost sale price. And it seemed to work very well. Can we expect some surprise news from github? I don't know, but that can sure be one valid reason for raising such mone

The project i am working on needs IE support, and i won't be making big changes to code once it has been deployed. It's a contract based work and not employment. So if it is not unprefixed by august, i will still have support for the browse

The CSS compilers really dont make much sense to me. The language is very easy/simple as is (vendor prefixes are a mess though) and having a compiler's overhead on every request does not feel right to me. I love JS though, in fact it's my f

It's probably just me but I don't use libraries and secondary "languages" that compile to another language (in web development context). So no jquery, coffeescript, SASS, LESS, pIE etc. I don't feel satisfied when my code's efficiency/spee

I am just a hobbyist, but as i understand it, 5.0 sigma is just the probability of the result being bogus. So 5 sigma is very high probability, something like one in 1.4 million. i.e. the chances of the result being wrong is one in 1.4 mil.

Yes, i think over simplification killed it. The existence of higgs will only tell us that the model was not wrong in it's prediction and will hence increase the credibility and chances of success of other predictions. I stand corrected.

If the tablet is really $200, it will be a huge hit here. Not in the lower class, but in the middle and upper class, but it wont be that price (about 10k inr) a 10 thousand tablet like the nexus will be more popular than anything else. But
