The xoom 2 or the very first one? It got off from 3.1 and then got 3.2, 4.0 and now 4.1. That sounds like a nexus like update life. Is nexus 7 really the first google tablet?

My point was that the phones are moving closer to the 7 inch mark. There is now just about 2 inch difference b/w a high end phone and a tablet. So if you need a 7 inch tablet, in most cases a 5 inch galaxy note will suffice. Except maybe a

I am inclined to think 7 inch will be a let down. Not much different from other big phones. A 10 inch is the least. The 7 inch tablet really has to die IMO. I am looking for a tablet and will get one but never a 7inch. My phone is already a

I am the author of an app that does exactly what you said. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fddboknafkepdchido... If chrome eventually drops background html page then my app won't be half as functional as it is today.

Chrome has an option to disable that. But that's not the point. What i am trying to say is that there are valid reasons for html background page instead of just a script.

So will they be eventually killing off background pages? Background html page is very important for certain types of apps. A media player for example which uses the page to play background music even if the app tab is closed.

I would say the "blame" is transferable indefinitely. The reactor is not responsible either, the enriched uranium is responsible instead, for the damage. But then uranium is not responsible either, the atoms are, that fuse (or fission), or

With flame and stuxnet in picture, cyber warfare looks a lot more real and physical. From disabling production of nuclear weapons to extremes of (highly unlikely) blowing up of reactors. That's a little more than a bullet.

While I agree that JavaScript can be better but suggesting to compile your code to JavaScript as default is something that I cannot feel comfortable with. Doing it once or twice if the need be so makes sense but phasing out JavaScript and w

Well flame is alot more complex than stuxnet, so it only makes sense it would be better at keeping itself hidden, and for longer.

I don't like anything with a fixed position with sole purpose of sharing to social networks. Looks very desperate and blocks the precious vertical pixels. I don't mid fixed stuff on the side of the content, but an overlay you can't scroll

If someone is capable of doing stuff that flame is doing, he/she might as well do it in 2 months time. The thing is we are unaware of the exact capabilities of the author of the code, so it can be a very intelligent person doing it in a few

I think it makes sense that a well funded government was behind flame, but it makes me wonder, there is nothing that explicitly calls for huge funding. Nothing is very costly other than talent. So just a hypothetical situation here but why

Na.. that will be too much work for the user, plus disabling DNT will mean it's disabled for everyone, not just the said website. It also does not make alot of sense, disabling DNT does not make site any money directly. So it will only rais

The idea of Microsoft willingly giving windows source code access to government does not make alot of sense. What could have however happened is that the said "Intelligence agency" first created a malware to infect MSFT engineers' computers

They apparently were only thinking of monetary losses, but a government malware on my computer is alot worse than credit card malware. At least we know what credit card malware can do at best (or worst).

Banking passwords are always fun. Mine has to be changed every 30 days, cannot be same as last 3, must contain at least one number, special character, capital, lowercase. I essentially end up where i have to store password in plain text (!)

As i said, the work is being done on APIs. Infact in developer channels of the browser, I think all the html5 APIs are accessible to everyone. As for background pages, there is no way of running a background page that is hosted somewhere el
