This is why using Chinese chips in American military equipment is a bad idea, aside from the fact that ghost runs of popular chips can result in fake, non-working chips.

I'd really like to learn to implement a basic lisp in assembly. Do you know of any resources for doing this?

I think, just like any other syntactic sugar, it's fine if used with proper understanding of possible consequences. I'd like to see lisp use indention instead of parens like Python. I'm sure someone's done it and it isn&

I agree, I got a CT for something they could have stuck a camera or mirror in my mouth to see. They also billed me directly instead of my insurance. I can't help but think it had more to do with them making money than treating me.

The worst part of it is that it's easy to feel like it's your own fault when something like this happens. The real problem was the hiring manager misleading the applicant about what the job would be, but the OP clearly felt respon

I never really felt much motion sickness from it, even in TF2. I didn't really enjoy playing that way, as I felt like I lost some of the control mouse+kb gives, but it's certainly immersive. petercooper hit on the big problems: th

I bet it has more to do with them pushing new cards and wanting users to replace them with new ones. I have the 560 Ti and it's capable of playing most current games comfortably. The newer cards seem to be able to do 4 monitors, but th

Even some of the Quadro cards (Q2000m in my personal experience) won't do more than 3 displays, and to do that requires changing bios settings which make games unplayable for the most part.

25 year old here, I agree. I only know enough of the frameworks I've learned to solve the problems I've come across. As far as compilers and ML... yeah, I know a little bit of that stuff, but it's far from common for people i

Here's a bookmarklet I threw together. You can go to the link given by someone else and then click the bookmarklet to join their session. It messes up if you change pages, though. Maybe there's a way to fix that. Pretty interestin

Does anyone know how this would handle an iframe? Could this potentially be 'injected' into a page using bookmarklets? edit: so, it doesn't handle iframes. Bookmarklets work but are buggy.

Is this how they avoid having to reveal information they don't want public? Just throw an absurdly high fee on the FOIA request and nobody will ever know the truth? How sad.

My concerns were similar. What bus can be used which will be fast enough for all of the components to work together? Sticking a cpu, camera, memory, and screen on the same bus will cause an amazing bottleneck. How will the components be mad

I found an article that claims a new technology could allow 10TB/in^2. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/10/121010083826.ht... With that, it would only require 1.639*10^6 cubic meters.
