This looks terrific! I'm a big fan of Carcassonne and the theme of this is very appealing to me. I hope you make it to the explorer meeple stage. Anyway, I pledged.

Thanks for the clarification. Is there a recording of your full speech? I like your basic premise, although I would certainly say that Costco is a much better corporation when it comes to serving the working class (in employment and in serv

A little known company had this same idea in the mid 90s. I believe it languished in obscurity and then died after an unfortunate takeover. The company was Macromedia, the product was Flash.

I assume Mason answered that question about ten thousand times before at that point. If the person that asked that really asked it like that, then I have to say it was a poorly phrased, thoughtless question that no CEO would answer. He's ha

Those OBD II connectors in cars can be kind of a pain to plug and unplug, so it does need to fit the hand well, but your point about the bright colors is very good. I hope they consider something more discrete.

Nikon and Ricoh/Pentax use Sony sensors for their cameras. Sony makes more money when you buy their Alpha A99 camera body, but they still make a bunch of money when you buy a Nikon D600. When business is booming for Nikon, business is boom

I have advocated in the past for Sony and MS that they are behaving as mostly rational actors defending their business interests. People using cheats and hacks in multi-player games is another strong case for keeping consoles locked down.

I think Sony overestimates the amount of piracy that this will enable. I softmodded my Wii long ago (in order to unlock the region to play Japanese and European games on a U.S. Wii). Ever since it's been an incredible pain in the butt to

The currency conversion policy is either going to be awesome or suck depending on what kind of credit card you use with PayPal. Since I have cards that have no foreign transaction fees, I am guessing it will not be beneficial for myself.

That thing that you said there does not describe Andrew Mason in any way shape or form. He used to post on a forum that I spent a lot of time on in the early 00s. He's a clever, funny guy, and he took most of his lessons in ethics from Stev

I posted a reply above, but I also wanted to point out that MLB is similarly blacked out on a regional basis. You could use a VPN to get around that, but that's an annoyance that most people will not (or can not) go through to avoid paying

The online version of NBA league pass is basically useless. 1) All nationally televised games are blacked out (anything on ABC, TNT, ESPN, etc.) 2) Locally televised games are blacked out on a by region basis. So if you want to watch the H
