It comes up most often when I'm updating a string. I may want to backspace a couple characters and then, possibly after entering new characters, delete the other direction. I'm already using multiple hands/keys constantly so

Hold the function key to change delete/backspace. It is actually nice once you get used to it.

Every time I see a little game/dev device with a square screen I think about pico-8. The devterm looks like it could be a good device too as you could have pico-8 running on one side with code editor taking up the rest of the screen.

Most people need to print so infrequently that they should just print to library or print service like fedex. My library's printing is a third the cost of local printing services. Both have simple ways to send print jobs to a location.
