This is how select bus service buses are supposed to work in NYC. You buy a ticket before getting on the bus, and fare checkers randomly get on (haven’t seen on since I’ve started riding again this year, but its maybe a few times a month).

I’ve been wondering if you could tell the dealer that you’d like to finance and then just pay the loan off in the short term, whether it be immediately or in a matter of months, or if there are normally provisions in car loans that prevent

6 year old thinkpads aren’t any good anymore? I really like that the parts are widely available enough and cheap (or were) that you can do repairs yourself. I guess there are people doing more mission critical things around here. I’ve been

I kinda moved away from a full stack web dev project recently that really showed me the down and dirty of using express and EJS templating. I didn't think it wouldn't work or I didn't have something, I just felt like it was a

It would be exciting if you could add more memory to their machines, and maybe gpus, on systems that cost less than 6000 dollars (and even those haven't transitioned to apple's in house cpu architecture). For now, Apple Silicon is

Also their products include iPhones and iPads. Intel nor AMD are putting their chips into 10s of millions of phones, especially phones people will pay top dollar for, per quarter.

I think a lot of people who watch these things suspect exactly what you wrote at the least. Apple funds much of TSMC’s research and development for a new node, pays for production for use in iPhones, both sides make tons of money and repeat

Stop feeding into hyperbole. The 13900k is for maybe 5% of the market, and the non k will give crazy enough performance for most buyers (if they even exist at this point). Giving the 13900 a high heat mode is just for the chance to keep up&

Have they really gone back to the pentium 4 strategy or are they behind in process node tech and can only compete with AMD’s performance by pumping power into their cpus? I think Intel’s top priority right now is to catch up to Tsmc’s node
