Well I've never had that on Android here in the UK. I still have to ring my EE voicemail and listen to messages one by one. Thanks for the info.

Even for "free" level accounts, there is no information on support or anything if you buy something like Drive storage. No info on termination, how to get support (leaving an entry on a rammed, replete and bursting forum is not su

And it didn't settle it - I would love to know if they went for C++. It's getting better and better. Of course, if they wrote it in Swift 1 they would have had pains migrating to 2 and 3, but if they wrote it in C++ then they woul

I wonder if this is due to copying (to some extent) MacOS? I didn't realise how similar everything was until I used MacOS for a few years and then went back to GNOME - the behaviour of Nautilus and missing configuration options for par

Yes back when using Linux, I used Meld a lot. I can recommend it - the directory comparison is good. Also KDiff3. Struggling to remember the other ones I used to try unfortunately.

For me, I found I did not need to do 3 way merges that often and opendiff's native UI fits in better than kdiff3 (for me). I think kdiff3 was Qt? Despite Trolltech's best efforts, Qt does not feel native on a Mac. This isn't

Out of interest, what is wrong with Java? I found writing Android apps easy enough using Java. I am from a C++ background, so find all the C# and Java that I have to write quite simple, so I'd be intrigued to know what was "wrong&

I too had the Atrix, the Lapdock and the multimedia dock. It was a good device, just hampered by the lack of RAM, the dual core processor (which was a bit sluggish), and the hampered Linux desktop; I too hacked around with it to be able to

I tend to use native applications. They resize fine to a 16:9 screen - I think it is the web apps that insist on a certain layout (e.g. text in a column, huge areas of whitespace etc)?

I wonder why 10S is faster than Pro? It can't be doing anything significantly different - perhaps some .NET runtime startup cache or bypassing many of the Win32 APIs regarding RPC? I am genuinely curious - ideas?
