Touch is very laggy on iPads. It's still eminently usable, and there's nothing better, so no one complains. But to an interaction expert like Ive, it must be really horrible - it certainly seems so to me. In contrast, mouse-pointer movemen

One problem with Unity is lack of a linux plugin (whereas Flash has one). Is it "web-based" if it doesn't work everywhere the web does? But whatever your answer to that theoretical question, in practice, I cannot play Unity games because I

Not the tools, but for ARM performance: first, how does your 550 compare with the Acer C7 Chromebook? http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/acer-c7-chromeb... Both are listed as having a dual-core Celeron. EDIT google says your 5

How much of your terabyte is yours? The duplication seems to be at least three times (more?), so that would be 333GB. Note: it doesn't matter how finely you cut it up, you need duplication to avoid loss. It can be ameliorated by the cloud

Annoyance: you start reading, and the page suddenly scrolls back to the top. That is, the page has mostly loaded. You scroll down, and start to read. The rest of the page loads, and it scrolls back up to the top. (I'm assuming the page cod

It's personal. You have found what works for you: "I can focus non-stop for 10-12 hours", and if "Even those 10 hour sessions require an hour or two to get started." then force yourself to spend those 1-2 hours to get started. A key trick

I know it's irrelevant, but I really can't get past the terrible name "Rust", meaning corrosion. Why not call it "Ruined", "Broken", "Stupid" or "Bug-ridden"? It's almost as bad as naming it for emasculated slaves.
