Up here, "north of the border" in Canada, Kijiji has cut a swath through Craigslist use. I rarely hear Craigslist anymore but Kijiji is almost ubiquitous for online classifieds, especially in my non-tech friends. "Throw it on Kijiji" I don

This is a very interesting product but the wording of the intro paragraph seems odd to me. "We have developed a technology to create covert concealment devices out of a material that black & white cameras can see through." I may be pick

Nice to see someone from FB apparently hopping on this right away and replying on SE. Having a more direct interface would be something for them to consider though as a lot of users aren't going to know how to raise an alert "where the tec

I had never met Mihai but I knew of his work and had read his blog many times. This is a sad loss. The same day, June 5, I also lost a dear and incredibly brilliant friend long before his time. Much too much talent to be lost in one day.

I've never had a huge issue with the difference in appearance. One was assembled by a stylist, the other by a teenager putting together 200 of them in a shift. As long as what I asked for is in there, and what I didn't ask for isn't, and

I am going to be watching this product very closely and might even climb on the x86 model pre-order bandwagon when I can. I am a software developer who travels a lot and I currently use a Vaio Z and an Asus Slider on the road. I was very

The upgrade-ability aspect is not what gets me, it's the service-ability. Screens crack, Ram chips and SSDs fail. Under warranty, fine... but a LOT of these machines are going to see use well beyond warranty as Macs hold a resale value. I

I understand the 'luxury item' mentality but if a Porsche breaks out of warranty, you won't have to replace the entire engine to fix a faulty alternator. And you don't have to purchase tires or most maintenance parts from Porsche if you ch

For most people a $2000 laptop is a lot more than a few weeks of savings however... in fact I'd say that's true for most of the target market. The asking people to educate themselves on this product runs directly counter to Apples marketing

I have a true 1080P on my 13.3" Vaio Z notebook which I run at the full 1920x1080. I would stick with that over this new MB screen. It's all about effective resolution when you are trying to get things done and that hasn't changed on the M

I do agree that the low entry point in VB did raise the percentage of bad code due to inexperienced coders. This ultimately damaged its rep as many experienced what you have. In turn a hammer also has a low entry point for use, but I can'
