This! Timing, opportunity and location matter (wealthy parents are a good start too). Pick your choice of billionaire and look at their beginning. You can rarely see something truly jaw dropping.

What is a good resource to check potential cost of solar panels installation in southern part of USA? I had a few quotes and the prices were all over the place. Prices seem to be going up rather than down. Tesla quote was about $55k, Sunrun

This is some HW NSFW!! Wow! I’m in a very similar situation when it comes connections, FW and needs. I’m about to get a backup line for internet and it’s between Verizon (just like you) or Spectrum (same price, 500mbit down). What was your

The original adapter for mikrotik 750 is 24V/380mA (9.12W). This is not a sufficient way to supply power to 3 devices, no matter how you dice it.

I don’t understand how the SYSMI box works. I see power input going into the Mikrotik router, then feeding D-Link USB hub with (according to the Mikrotik specs) up to 5V/500mA DC. The USB hub sends power to both Pi’s and somehow splits

For those with access to company-wide GitHub, I recommend running this search. Changes are you are going to find some gems. I know I did.

I agree with ad-sponsored or subsidized content, I just want there to be an ad-free option for those who put value in not having to see them.

Exactly. Any any kind of written rules (or laws) will just immediately become a subject to interpretation, pushing the limits and exploiting loopholes. As usual, a few ruin it for everyone.

I am very much against advertisements in media. If a service doesn’t come with an ad-free option then I don’t subscribe at all. I am not as radical when it comes to advertisements in the cities. 100% no to billboards. But if a local restau

Can confirm. I happen to live in one of the affected neighborhoods. From my experience in TX, roofs do really well with up to ping pong sized hail. Anything bigger and you have a problem. It’s absolutely mind blowing to me how many people h

Somewhat related, Apple’s Air Quality data source (breezometer) is now owned by Google. I wonder what Apple is going to do about it. Will it be just one of their data sources or are they going to acquire their own?

I dare to argue that the reputation was destroyed for people who are less likely to be influenced by media. In other words, critical thinker’s probably didn’t trust the platforms just for their reputation to begin with.

I completely agree. A few hundred years ago is somewhat understandable. It’s the peak before electricity allowed further progression (and demise). To me, 3k years ago is a bit more shocking, when I compare it with items from 5-10th century.
