Actually, american english is "en-US", "en_US" means english with the region set to the US, at least on iOS. But yes, it is checking that their region is set to mainland china. https://developer.apple.com/

The code is checking the region part of the locale, which is CN for china. The language code for chinese is zh.

Adding it as a filter would be fine: some of the other info in the sidebar could be useful as filters as well, like the use cases. Also, comment from a friend who is more pro than me would be to add reciprocity compensation information.

date-fns v2 supports timezones with the date-fns-timezone package https://www.npmjs.com/package/date-fns-timezone . Works well for me so far.

MySQL doesn't have transactions for DDL (i.e. alter table ), which Postgres does. This is very handy for migrations, as you can modify columns and update data in the same transaction and rollback if things go awry.

I worked at a company that not only had Friday deploy freezes, but also the other days after 2pm, to avoid midweek deploys staying broken overnight. But some of our repos were set up to automatically deploy to production when code was merge
