Somehow I knew it was Schmidhuber before I clicked the link.

I built something like this but found that the electric arduino water sensor quickly became corroded after a week and a half and ended up replacing it with a float switch.

Looking at their data and their experiments, I'd actually come to the opposite conclusion of the title. It's true that current LLMs are probably not quite at human level performance for these tasks, they're not that far off

How does this stack up to diffusion policy learning? https://diffusion-policy.cs.columbia.edu/ Looking at the figures and videos it seems... worse? Sort of surprised they didn't compare it but I guess they're try

There is a duality between observation and control. The more precisely you can measure and predict a system, then the easier it gets to drive the system to whatever state you'd like. Desiring privacy and resisting control are reasonab

Maybe that's true, but the examples you picked are pretty bad. * Isaac Newton lost his dad before he was born and his parents gave him up to live with relatives. He had a very rough childhood. * Andre Carnegie's family went broke

Not that obfuscated I guess. I pasted the first example into chatgpt: https://chat.openai.com/share/59b77203-c40c-4a1f-ac03-1f0e1c... It got it right away and even figured out the general shape of the animation.

I'm just using the examples from the paper. Here's another one: "Implement a Gomoku game using Python, incorporating an AI opponent with varying difficulty levels." One shot prompt works fine: https://chat.op

I think at least some of it is outright fraud. A lot of these are being pushed by shameless spammers and former crypto hucksters. Some of the vanity metrics like followers and stars can just be bought if you have a few bucks, and boosting

I strongly believe this to be total bullshit. Here's how I managed to recreate their example of a BlackJack game using a single simple prompt in ChatGPT: https://chat.openai.com/share/561419c8-4143-4172-b5e2-a411e

Looks like it just runs the LLM in a loop until it spits out something that type checks, prompting with the error message. This is a cute idea and it looks like it should work, but I could see this getting expensive with larger models and i

Seems to match up with 6-4 and the HK protests. In China were major VPN crackdowns around this time, not sure if all that had anything to do with the other failures.

Stop measuring battery size in amp hours. I have no idea how big this battery is without knowing the voltage. Use watt hours in the title.

I agree with the general sentiment of this sort of objection, but where it goes off the rails is the generalization to all sorts of modeling. If you think the model and it's assumptions are wrong why not go build a better model? That

Speaking as someone who lives off grid: solar technology today is more than good enough to solve this problem, but people will have to adjust their lifestyle to consume less energy. Switching to a finite off grid battery bank it's rem
