I don't see why one would jump to blaming the engineers from the 1960's instead of the very government bureaucracy that was responsible for funding the maintenance and oversight of the bridge for over five decades. I do wonder if

I hate to be that guy, but it was a guided bomb . The Germans made the Fritz X, also a glide-bomb, and it came before the Bat. I believe the V-1 is still the first "guided missile", i.e. self-propelled.

Ahh the Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra. What an awful name it had. An mp3 player one could slap a larger 2.5" HDD into, and with a replaceable battery. Mine still sits on my desk, a monument to a forgone era. The case front and back a

Nope, the [park tote] road at 46.011344, -69.061875 is within the "remote radius" at peakbagger by about 450-500m. It's still in the top-50, but it's a tad lower on the list.

I bet with more data they would be underwhelmed. Compare the Federal Lands map[0] with a land-cover map[1]. See how much of that BLM managed property is semi-desert? And how much is actually Forest Service land? The first map also includes

The previous poster said "women", not "women on average".

I would be careful to say Women , as a group, cannot do something because of their physiology. Sure, many women have a hard time flying older planes. I would think many men would have had the same problem. If a woman really wanted to, I sh

It may be "genius" for the state revenue service, but it is "backwards" in that it fucks over state residents.

Are they so backwards they don't have a simple form to fill out if that is the case? e.g. in my state you file an additional schedule [0] to get exempted from state income tax for the part of the year you were no longer a resident. [0]

I was referring to Vancouver, BC, Canada that the GP was sharing a purported zoning map of. Many US cities would at least allow duplexes in such zones I would think (my experience being from the NE US).
