There are lots of interesting / incriminating details in the already released documents. There are also some redacted names which surely would add more context and answer a few questions. I'm sure we won't get many shocking

I'm not convinced that the democrats (most of them anyway) are actually apposed to what is happening. Both parties seem to have largely the same goals just preferring to use different tactics in order to achieve them.

Trump has already been impeached a couple of times. That definitely isn't happening with a conservative majority in both houses of congress.

Difficult but also important. The more our world views diverge, the more difficult it is for society (to continue functioning.)

Facebook has gone to shit long before any controversy around the CEO's political posturing. The content/spam+slop ratio is pretty dismal at this point. I am sure a lot of people are ready to jump ship, given a viable alternative

I've lost count of how many of the biggest problems in society can be directly traced back to great optimization decisions by MBAs. I think it's almost all of them.

Found a place in a rural part of Missouri for $60k at the end of 2019. Everything has more than doubled in value since then. I had no idea what was about to happen when I signed that paper… but I’m sure glad I didn’t wait even a few months.

Puppet is actually a very competent infrastructure-as-code tool. I never liked the typical architecture where you run a few central puppetmaster nodes with hundreds or thousands of puppet agents all syncing to that... There are other ways

I'm having a hard time taking this seriously: "only 1.75 trillion" What a ludicrous statement. I mean, I know inflation has been bad but not THAT bad. One or two trillion dollars is an absolutely enormous amount of money.

I'm sure they make some modifications, but they started with the plans for a prison. The overall building footprint and architecture is the same.

In Missouri, high-school buildings use the same blueprints as state prisons. Why bother designing something custom? They serve the same purpose. They literally are prisons. If a teenager fails to show up for school, a police officer will ev

Youtube intentionally degrades the user experience if you use Firefox, at least if you are using a proper ad blocker. And there really isn't much reason to use Firefox if you aren't also using uBlock. So by targeting the users o
