I won't disclose my predicates here apart from saying that I am not American, but I understand your rebuttal. Which brings me to another question for parent and children comments posters. You really think that the USA is an authoritari

At least in the US you have constitutional rights and somewhat efficient check & balances to limit abuses. On the other hand, I still agree that the phenomenon of rating people based on data is something that happens in the West too. Wh

Hey, the first iteration "was only tested on 30 people". It must work for sure. (Seriously, wtf, 30 people?!?)

I'm working on a project with old school RDF & semantic web, and I tend to concur with you. I often miss my usual RDBMS. Maybe it's the way my data is structured, but any complex display of data quickly becomes a weird maze of

People get self-aware of the dangers related to their profession. We get pretty crazy about data leak, when nobody else really cares. I'm pretty sure the psychotherapist you just talked to at a dinner party has one or two diagnostics o

It is ethically impossible to ask for DNA samples to every participants in a social science study. Parent OP comment is equivalent than stating that social science is impossible. As any opinion, it can be held, and yet some people may find

Munchies can be about eating anything. Just make sure you got plenty of fruits and veggies or go for a long session of oral sex. Nobody ever got in bad shape for eating a full bag of baby cut carrots or a whole tray of peaches.

I read about work politics so I can get good at self-defense for my economical interest, but avoid going offensive so I can sleep sound at night and keep a bit of my naive child heart.

May I suggest you get access to a monitor? In all seriousness, data visualization requires all the space it can get. I agree the graphics are not that fancy, but displaying them on mobile would be rather uninteresting as everything would be

I totally concur. If the steps proposed looks too hard, start by making friends. These friends will make you meet other friends. Sharing a common interest is a good way to make things go a little further.
