I disagree, but most importantly you're confusing the difference between exciting people who already vote vs. mobilizing non-voters. The Democratic Party is a tad more sophisticated than that.

Regardless Twitter's history, if you want to compete with Twitter then you are shooting yourself in the foot if you refuse to let branding people handle the branding. It would have been such a simple step to take, and the the only reas

Mastodon was absolutely doomed from the start due to the name alone. I despise the superficiality of our society at least as much as anybody else, but I worked in advertising for 6 years and I'm under no delusions about what happens wh

I have no side in this debate because I don't support any of the potential candidates, but since US politicians are not effectively disciplined by their base but rather by their donors, it's quite reasonable for the base to seek e

Variables don't make benchmarking any more difficult. You should always record the variables.

A lot of so-called "conspiracy theories," including this one, are quite rational once you replace the conspirators with the profit motive under capitalism.

I hope you get sleep at night. When I worked as a video editor years ago, I unfortunately had a boss who I needed to please and this kind of rabbit hole obsession would have added a significant barrier to doing so. More resolution, on the o

My day job is software development for creativity/art related software and I do a lot of visual creative work on the side, both personally and professionally. I use the PC for 3D rendering.
