I don't really see a reason why the C# version couldn't be written in a similar functional style as the Haskell version. I don't see them using linq anywhere. I see shallow clones, double constructors, no use of records. So I

C# still has a large mind-share in enterprise. And while it's net core is cross platform these days, Visual Studio (Windows) is still the preferred way of working for many.

Also interesting doubleverify.com is ranked 14th, the first I did not hear of. Quickly looked them up, some sort of anti-fraud company, working with TikTok apparently. There website doesn't load for me, I'm wondering if they are t

I feel like web 1 & 2 was really about sharing things. Newsgroups and forums. Then videos and social media. However 'web3' seems the opposite. Decentralization is touted as a feature, because we cannot place our trust in other

Personally I love the look of the Rad Runner. Only reason I don't buy one is because cycling as my commute is a great fitness for me, and going electric I would lose that. However I really feel that for 1000+ euros, a chain guard and f

In my opinion the major difference is dealing with Databases. I'm a 'backend' only engineer, although I play with svelte/vue in my free time. I feel confident in my ability to solve almost any issue, except a database on

Is there any higher level language that compiles down to COBOL? Seems like there would be market for such a thing.

Sorry for late answer. I can give my perspective only from C# OOP perspective, which is my primary language. Dependency injection for me means, the constructor determines the dependency, and the injector will resolve what the constructor re

On desktop the background follows the mouse. I couldn't focus on anything else, I move my mouse around while I read. If the author is reading these, please consider using a static background.

Nitpick, but isn't this service lookup disguised as injection? Also somewhat considered an anti-pattern by some. Although I'm not sure how 'real' DI would work in Node, since it's requires knowledge of types to inje

Does running on efficiency cores actually save power in this case? Since it has to run longer. Or that wasn't the goal, just for fun?

Is there any example of how this would work with dependency injection? Or it's expected to manually call the service provider inside the lambda? Or if I just add my interfaces to the lambda parameters they will automatically resolved?
