What do you use that low spec machine for?
- jmclnx 27d agoIt is a backup machine for important files. Plus testing items I develop to see how they run in limited environments.
- soupbowl 27d agoCool, was just curious.
- 0dayz 27d agoJust wondering how does that fair over a vm or container that has similar limitations?
- jmclnx 27d agoI do not like using VMs and containers, I do like FreeBSD jails. Plus my main machine is around 12 or 13 years old, so I avoid VMs on it. But I saw somewhere someone is working on a jail like item for NetBSD.
- 0dayz 17d agoBut isn't hauls practically the same thing as container it just depends on how you want the cgroup to expose itself?
- throwaway270925 27d agoInteresting, whats your backup process, of you mind sharing?
