Trump, advisers discussing options to acquire Greenland, US Military an option
- msie 9mo agoCongress needs to step in and stop this insanity!
- walls 9mo agoNobody is coming to help.
- 0928374082 9mo agoHow about the people? You all could help your members of congress find their gonads.
- password54321 9mo agoGreenland the new Czechoslovakia?
- tizzy 9mo agoHopefully we’ve learnt our lesson about appeasement
- 0928374082 9mo agoHere is a recent picture, taken during discussions about Greenland: https://bilder.deutschlandfunk.de/72/d7/aa/c5/72d7aac5-be14-4a67-a869-c1e6ce16fcd8/frankreich-daenemark-praesident-macron-premierministerin-frederiksen-ostsee-unterwasserkabel-beschaedigungen-100-1920x1080.jpg https://bilder.deutschlandfunk.de/72/d7/aa/c5/72d7aac5-be14-... You probably recognise the woman on the left, the PM of Denmark. You may not recognise the dude on the right, but he comes from a country that gave us the motto which vocally expresses the solidarity he is physically expressing in the pic: "all for one, and one for all" https://www.elysee.fr/en/emmanuel-macron/2026/01/06/joint-statement-on-greenland https://www.elysee.fr/en/emmanuel-macron/2026/01/06/joint-st...
- DeH40 9mo agoThe only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history
- msie 9mo agoAt least in the first Trump term there were sane people in administration to stop Trump. Now it's all yes-men.
- Hikikomori 9mo agoIts worse. Its all project 2025 people using Trump, it wont end with him.
- tstrimple 9mo agoIt's worse. The problem is conservatives willing to vote for this shit. It won't end with Project 2025. Each election conservative politicians try to demonstrate that they are even more stupid and cruel than their predecessors and conservative voters seem to love it.

- akagusu 9mo agoThat is it? Everybody will watch this madness and do nothing to stop Trump?
- password54321 9mo agoI don't think people believe it. And when it happens, they will be like, he actually did it. Then they just move on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_frog https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiling_frog
- legitster 9mo agoI keep thinking of Caesar crossing the Rubicon. Congress has no power, the courts leave it to congress (lol). Every agency has been purged of anyone willing to put up resistance. Checks and balances and the Constitution are essentially meaningless. To be fair, this is not necessarily new for America. People forget that much of the 1800s was ruled by the spoils system and imperialist, nationalistic presidents. The difference is none of them ruled over the largest standing military in the world or the linchpins of the global economy.
- mongol 9mo agoI think the same, but the Rubicon was Jan 6 2021. That was when he showed his true colors. What we see now are just the consequences

- LarsDu88 9mo agoThe last state of the union, everyone in Congress laughed when he suggested it. They keep pushing this to shift the Overton window, an the shocking thing is that right leaning Americans just keep brushing stuff like this off. America will gain nothing, but NATO would be split apart. Exactly what Putin wanted.
- treetalker 9mo agoUS–Denmark Treaty of the Danish West Indies: > During 1916, the two sides agreed to a sale price of $25,000,000, and the United States accepted a Danish demand for a declaration stating that they would "not object to the Danish Government extending their political and economic interests to the whole of Greenland". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_the_Danish_West_Indies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_the_Danish_West_Indi...

- msie 9mo agoOne thing that could possibly stop Trump is if it is not a cake-walk to take Greenland and there are American casualties.
