- imtringued 1y agoI think you are mistaken about the part where they demanded to extinguish monopolies. They just wanted to replace the existing monopolies with their own favoured monopolies.
- marcosdumay 1y agoThat's bullshit. The illuminists wanted to read books without seeking permission, to be able to buy stuff from a a neighboring city, or to work on whatever they wanted.
