I get the opposite impression. People (like you) hate him because he's a pathological truth teller. He can't help but speak opinions that people don't want voiced.

  I really didn’t have an opinion on Elon. However, now that he is the most powerful man in the world and seemingly directing his vast wealth to act as an unelected leader in the US. I think he deserves some more scrutiny.

  He has a history of lying and making exaggerated claims. Back in 2016 he was selling this lie that by 2018 you'd be able to summon your car from New York to Los Angeles autonomously [0]. Well, it's 2025 and he still hasn't done anything even close to that, not even as a proof of concept. If their autopilot is actually that great, prove it by having the car autonomously drive from one end of the country to the other, even if it's done under supervision. Most recently, Elon has been caught lying about something as petty as being good at a game called Path of Exile 2. He pays someone to boost his account to a really high level in hardcore, and then pilots it for a few minutes on a livestream. Something has to be wrong with him, to think that he can fool people into thinking that he somehow grinds insane hours as CEO of multiple companies while somehow also grinding the insane number of hours that it would take to reach the top of the leaderboards in PoE2. There's just not enough hours in the day... If someone is willing to lie and cheat over something as mundane as a video game ranking, do you really think he wouldn't lie about something when there are significant resources on the line?     The hardcore poe2 ladder is hardly mundane. It is literally one of the most difficult things in all of CRPG gaming. Ever! Aside from it being extremely competitive, you have to be a master at market exploitation, probabilities, gameplay mechanics, UI ergonomics, personal discipline, and more, to be top 10 material. Or at least any 80% of those. He picked the wrong hive to assimilate. I’m holding out hope that he will come around. Maybe he will need to take a crash course in advanced POE gaming, Billy Madison style, and apologize for hopefully the right reasons. But he’s in even bigger trouble now it seems. Elon has now retaliated against Asmongold, leaking private DMs and taking away his checkmark. Elon needs to get himself under control as this could get much worse. It’s an embarrassment to the country, frankly. Imagine if this had happened in October instead.

  You know, you might as well give it up. He won't give you a free Tesla Truck no matter how brown your nose gets. The guy's an insufferable manchild with no more actual tech chops than the average boomer, made all the more dangerous by a severe case of Dunning-Kruger. He can't distinguish between reality and sci-fi, and goes around and buys companies that he thinks will make him look like real life Tony Stark.

      He started off wealthy from his dad's blood emerald enterprise. Then he really took off buying into PayPal, a middle man service for making secure money transactions online. Literally got rich off the dot-com boom. That is textbook definition of right place, right time. Every tech company he owns, he bought. He doesn't do any of the engineering. The only genius he possesses is in creating public hype for products he has invested in. It is 100% persona.

  He is actually both a liar and a truth teller. He is like a top level poker player, you never know when he is bluffing, and I am sure it is a big reason for his success. Expect a lie, but no, this time, it is actually the truth. Expect the truth, but no, this time, it is a lie.

  I do not hate him. I do not hate anyone. I just think he's a lost madman that comes from a broken home and believes he has to treat other humans like shit, exploit anyone and everyone, ignore the law, and use lies to advance an agenda of hate. He is a violent man and a criminal. Can you point out some of the "truths" that he is telling? Do you think he's a good and loving father to his twelve+ children?
