Kind of surprised HN bashes Elon more than Zuck idk why lol
- BoredPositron 2y agoBecause he gave us some llamas to play with. That aside he is just a beaten horse nobody takes meta serious. The only thing they do is acquire or copy/paste they had no internal innovation for nearly a decade.
- gunian 2y agoThe life lesson I am getting is if someone gives you llamas not a good sign run like Samuel Jackson in Get Out second time I've been tricked by llamas lol

- pkphilip 2y agoRight. I find that quite puzzling. Zuck hasn't produced anything apart from a platform with very questionable business practices and which serves as a surveillance tool but somehow he gets far less pushback than Musk.
- rendx 2y agoMusk is a pathological liar and madman that act 100x less ethical than the unethical Zuck and doesn't even pretend any more to have some humanitarian agenda. My couple of cents.
- xhkkffbf 2y agoI get the opposite impression. People (like you) hate him because he's a pathological truth teller. He can't help but speak opinions that people don't want voiced.
- yoyohello13 2y agoI really didn’t have an opinion on Elon. However, now that he is the most powerful man in the world and seemingly directing his vast wealth to act as an unelected leader in the US. I think he deserves some more scrutiny.
- TheAceOfHearts 2y agoHe has a history of lying and making exaggerated claims. Back in 2016 he was selling this lie that by 2018 you'd be able to summon your car from New York to Los Angeles autonomously [0]. Well, it's 2025 and he still hasn't done anything even close to that, not even as a proof of concept. If their autopilot is actually that great, prove it by having the car autonomously drive from one end of the country to the other, even if it's done under supervision. Most recently, Elon has been caught lying about something as petty as being good at a game called Path of Exile 2. He pays someone to boost his account to a really high level in hardcore, and then pilots it for a few minutes on a livestream. Something has to be wrong with him, to think that he can fool people into thinking that he somehow grinds insane hours as CEO of multiple companies while somehow also grinding the insane number of hours that it would take to reach the top of the leaderboards in PoE2. There's just not enough hours in the day... If someone is willing to lie and cheat over something as mundane as a video game ranking, do you really think he wouldn't lie about something when there are significant resources on the line? - serf 2y agobecause those of us that do not use social media can just about entirely ignore mark zuckerberg. one cannot avoid seeing Tesla vehicles, and the sky is littered with Starlink constellations at night, and every media outlet in the world reports on just about every SpaceX launch. Elon Musk isn't only quarantined to social media company he bought and the occasional congressional appearance. p.s. isn't it weird how everyone is on a first name basis with Elon Musk, and gave Mark Zuckerberg the pet name 'Zuck'? ..Maybe people with mononyms or near-mononyms should just be avoided all together..
