Donald Trump Threatens Comcast in Rant over Seth Meyers' Late Night Show
- taimurkazmi 2y agoMan its like we didnt see this shit from 2016-2020.....
- arunabha 2y agoI wish we could say this was unexpected, but to his credit Trump clearly outlined he would do once in office... repeatedly. So, I guess we all need to buckle up for a wild ride :-). The next four years might or might not be good, but they certainly will be interesting.
- grajaganDev 2y agoTrump gives Seth some great material for tonight's show - looking forward to it.
- add-sub-mul-div 2y agoI don't understand how this is worth his time. He was so impotent in his last term at stopping SNL et al. He just drew more attention to it.
- JojoFatsani 2y agoHe understands that truly no publicity is bad publicity anymore
- gedpeck 2y agoThings are different this time around. The political norms are gone. He will use the power of the federal government to retaliate against whomever he wants to. He has Congress and the Supreme Court. No one will stop him. It’s why Zuckerberg, Bezos, etc. have bent the knee.

- arunabha 2y agoFrom the article "These are not shows or entertainment, they are simply political hits, 100% of the time, to me and the Republican Party" I genuinely don't understand this. It's not like he didn't know that media can be biased. In fact, he has railed against it incessantly. I would pay good money to hear Trump's argument if someone pointed out that Fox news is the same, except in reverse. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you accept biased media and live with it, or you require all main stream media to be neutral.
- clipsy 2y ago> I would pay good money to hear Trump's argument if someone pointed out that Fox news is the same, except in reverse. Let me save you some money: It would be “nuh-uh!” wrapped in ten minutes of word salad.
- itsanaccount 2y agoThis is my favorite "how does HN deal with power" comment so far. I wonder if this comes from an education system that tended to focus on everything as a system of rules, discoveries and constructions. He can have his cake and eat it too in as much as he controls US gov things Comcast(or other media) needs. Unless some other rich and powerful bastard has the ability to hurt him. Its not about things being fair anymore, theres not enough people who believe in such things to matter.
- verdverm 2y agoIt's not biased media, it's comedy. Comedians have made fun of every president without the president getting upset about it. If the president ever commented on comedy takes, it was in appreciation, not whatever this is... Trump has always been a TV addict and obsessed with how he is spoken about on TV. He is a reality TV star first and foremost and must create drama at every opportunity. America apparently decided we like the genre so much that electing one was a good idea
