USD6/month to remove branding, and 12/month for custom domain? The pricing seems ... ambitious.

I understand that big text is the UI soup du jour, but it's so large that the page is borderline unusable. Content takes up so much space that each section is taller than my viewport (I'm on a 13" laptop), which leads to me having to scroll to read a one-liner. This makes the entire page feel fragmented. Every element needs to be scaled down ~20%.

I usually say otherwise but I’m on iphone Pro screen and it displays the website just fine, text size and photos are proportional and eligible

Just had a look. It definitely works better on a small portrait screen than a large landscape one.

  Free and open-source, self-hostable alternative could be hotglue[1]. [1] https://hotglue.me/ https://hotglue.me/

I do not understand the meaning of "Old School" in this case. To me, "Old School" is anything without Java script :)
