Is a 3rd party getting every key stroke I make and output it produces?
- api 2y agoAFAIK not if you don't turn this on, and not what you don't type in the box. My big disappointment is that you can't use providers other than OpenAI. Stop this. It's like making a web browser that can only use Google. AI APIs are actually kind of simple. Make it so I can pick one including a locally hosted one (ollama etc.) if I want.
- cchance 2y agoNo it isn't its a disabled feature by default, that requires an API key even if you do want it, its opt-in for gods sake
- yoyohello13 2y agoToday's opt-in is tomorrow's opt-out.
- verdverm 2y agoCould get some overzealous security groups in fortune 500 banning its use though. Can the IT department ensure it is not turned on by their developers on work machines?
