What Got Harder as MythBusters Got Bigger? [video]
- chiph 3y agoThe one myth they did that I was truly concerned for their safety was when they piled a bunch of lumber and construction material on top of a Volkswagen Jetta and drove around. Having owned one, I had no confidence that the roof structure was strong enough to support it all. I think they were lucky that it didn't collapse and kill them, even though they wedged a 4x4 in there for support. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRA_fUpCxWA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRA_fUpCxWA
- Kye 3y agoDon't discount the magical properties of a length of wood with "that'll hold" cast on it.
- willcipriano 3y ago500 pounds of wood according to the video. If it can't handle that would be horrible if it rolled over on you.
- zeroonetwothree 3y agoDon't worry, they have plot armor.
- ilaksh 3y agoI loved MythBusters but it's been over for quite a long time. It seems odd that Adam Savage keeps talking about it somewhat constantly.
- Kye 3y ago130 out of over 6000 videos isn't much. That's only ~2% of videos for something that was a huge part of his life and career. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJtitKU0CAehaZdgrPRzjyGFSEQ8URiQl https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJtitKU0CAehaZdgrPRzj...
- rideontime 3y agoPeople keep asking him.
- Forge36 3y agoIt was 13 years of his life. And likely the largest stepping stone to this level of current fandom.
- kadoban 3y agoIt was a big part of his life and still has a huge number of fans that ask about. Why wouldn't he?
- javchz 3y agoYeah this it's like people complaining about Mike Tyson talking about boxing despite being retired.
- huytersd 3y agoI like it. Getting more lore for one of my all time favorite shows is nice.
- lostlogin 3y ago> Adam Savage I misread this and had been googling to find the Adam Sandler episodes.
