- yoyohello13 3y agoThis makes no sense. People in power can absolutely hold other's below them accountable, but if you're the low person on the totem pole it becomes much harder.

Those higher on the totem pole is not going to be willing to change their position, just so that someone lower can climb. They would need to either be higher, or get some alternative compensation. This has been the human condition since time memorial!
