Reasonable people can differ, I guess. I myself have never seen a phoronix post that wasn't better summed up by the mailing list post they got it from though.

- yunohn 3y agoI don’t think you’re being reasonable. The mailing list email does not describe the developers background nor provide context - whereas the Phoronix article does.
- solarkraft 3y agoIt's an interesting point, maybe it feels like that to you because you're already deep in the community. For myself (as I am not), Phoronix articles often provide a good bit of accessibility through context and explanation.
